Afghanistan: Leader of ISIS Khurasan Killed in Nangarhar Province

As a result of Air Strike in eastern Afghanistan's province of Nangarhar, the emir of ISIS-Khorasan, Abu Saad Khorasan has killed according to reports

According to Afghan media reports, sources of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) of Afghanistan Secret Agency said that last night after the Air Strikes, A man identified with the name of Saad Arbani (the leader of ISIS-K) had killed in Aerial bombing.

Sources further told that Saad Arbani was also known as Abu Saeed Orakzai was killed with his 9 colleagues in Air Strike. They further said that aerial attack was done on a village in Khogyani district of Nangarhar Province.

Provincial Governor's spokesman Ataullah Khogyani confirmed the death of Saad Arbani, claiming that he was the resident of Orakzai Agency and had became the emir of ISIS-K after the death of Haseeb Laghari.

Meanwhile, a statement issued by the provincial governor's office has reported that the US conducted Air strike in Ghazni province, resulting in a 3 ISIS fighters killed while 3 sustained injuries. The statement further added that the Group's commander was also killed in that attack.

It is believed that ISIS and their allies groups haven't conform these death reports till now.

On 15 July 2017, Pentagon claimed that US forces succeeded in killing ISIS-K leader in the of north-eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.
