President Trump accuses China of meddling in the midterm elections

President Trump accuses China of trying to interfere in the 2018 midterm elections while speaking at the United Nations Security Council meeting, adding "China doesn't want me to win."

"They don't want us to win, because I am the first president to challenge them on trade," Trump said in his opening remarks.

No evidence was presented by the president to support his claim. Trump did not mention election interference by Russia, who has been flagged by U.S. intelligence agencies for interfering in the 2016 presidential election.
